You can cut and paste inot the Revit PAT file and the pattern shows up when you use it to create a custom fill or model pattern. To modify use notepad (or similar text editor) and cut an paste the desired PAT definition lines inot the file. I typically just create stand alone PAT files to use when defining custom fill pattterns in Revit.
