Giorgio Moroder E Mc Rarity

High and mighty Giorgio Moroder get remixed by legendary Alexander Robotnick and Daniele Baldelli. Together with many other Italians. We call it the Italian.

Shortly after won an Academy Award for his soundtrack to Midnight Express, he appeared on German TV where, after they introduced him, they played clips from the film and Moroder played some of the song’s riffs on the Minimoog rigged up for him. While this likely wasn’t a true live performance, it’s fun nonetheless. Another priceless video we found was this promo made to support his solo release E=MC 2, an album that is “Moogs, memory banks, and Moroder.” The video shows the musician “plugged in, turned on, and creating musical magic from thin air and solid state electronics.” Watch him use the Vocoder.

The quality of the sound is a bit muffled and it is missing brightness and high end sound.

I still think this release is a bootleg. You would say it is obvious. Einstein pictured on the cd lable showing his tongue!? I also wander why the track Evolution has been added to this release, it has, besides Moroder, nothing to do with this album E=MC2.

I still think there is not one cd album release that used the original digital mastertapes. Could it be that the device which have to play the tapes aren't available anywhere or maybe the original digital tapes are missing at all. The 2 E=MC2 tracks on the Unidisc cd single has to my opinion the best soundquality which could be a transfer taken from a master source but i am also not certain.
