Project Magenta Releases The First Version Of Its Airbus Glass Cockpit Demo Little over a year after offering the Boeing Type Glass Cockpit, followed by the Boeing/Smiths CDU as well as the B747/737/777 MCP, we are showing some more new stuff. As a first step, we will now also be offering the Airbus Glass Cockpit for both two and four-engine types.it can be used with the A32X, A330 and A340. The Project Magenta Airbus Glass Cockpit consists of the Primary Flight Display, the Navigation display and the ECAM (Engine Panel). This demo comes with a configuration file for the A320. It displays all important infromation, including flap settings, speeds thrust limiter indications etc.
The Airbus MCDU and Autopilot will follow in 2001, but for the time being the Glass Cockpit will work with the existing Boeing Software. The Demo can be downloaded from.
